UT Libraries Newsletter

UT Libraries wanted a newsletter to go out to alumni and donors to provide information as well as promote events. I was asked to make the double-sided, single printed page newsletter something that would be looked at and not simply discarded after being received in the mail.

My responsibilities with this newsletter included creating the concept as well as a look and feel, selecting and editing imagery, and laying out the articles and copy. Once the design was approved I created print-ready files and press-checked the newsletter proofs.

The concept of the newsletter was to have each article sit on a 9″ x 12″ page that folded out to an 18″ x 24″ sheet which showcased a piece of art the UT Libraries had in its collection. In this way, alumni and donors could see the great pieces the UT Library held as well as be informed of upcoming events and news.
